Looks like 2012 will be the last year for the current body style of trucks from Chevrolet and GMC. Recently released photos of a radically redesigned Silverado scheduled for release in the 2013 model year.
As much as we like the current body style, this new look is something that deserves some attention. For the street scene, the new body offers much to be desires with sleek lines and an aerodynamic ambiance. This new platform is surly to attract lots of aftermarket attention.
From the off road enthusiasts, the new styling is being met with lots of woes. It’s so totally different and looks to be far too susceptible to off road damage. This segment looks for a more rugged macho looking vehicle that screams rugged and indestructible rather that sleek and sophisticated.
